TUCSON, Ariz. – Because pest control is essential to public health, Truly Nolen understands the need to help restore confidence among businesses and business owners when it comes to sanitation and safety. As a result, the company recently announced the debut of a service for disinfecting, sanitizing and eliminating viruses on non-porous surfaces such as countertops, tables, and door handles.

“As we have always known, sanitation is a critical part of pest control,” said Scarlett Nolen, Truly Nolen President. “Although we cannot guarantee our customer’s exposure to the virus, we can support safety and public health through our ‘TRULY Sanitized’ service.”

The new service will utilize two types of treatment on surfaces. The company’s technicians will treat with either a directed mist application or a wipe application depending on the scope. In directed mist application, the technicians will apply the product in a finely-misted droplet form on all non-porous surfaces, which will thoroughly distribute the material across a wide area for quick evaporation. In wipe application, the technicians will apply the product to a cloth and wipe down critical areas in rooms where a more targeted approach is needed (i.e. door handles or high-touch areas near finished surfaces).

“TRULY Sanitized” kills harmful germs and bacteria, prevents and eliminates mildew, and disinfects a wide variety of viruses, including hantavirus, Hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV-1 (AIDS Virus), influenza A/Brazil virus, influenza A H1N1 Virus, and, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes human coronavirus (COVID-19).

“We believe ‘TRULY Sanitized’ can be beneficial for homes, day care centers, supermarkets, restaurants, and more,” said Nolen. “We highly recommended the service for businesses that have frequently visited areas such as lobbies, kitchens, and checkout counters that are looking to further protect their employees and customers.”
